On the Upper Klamath Lake we saw 3 bald eagles. Patti was so excited she couldn’t sit still. Cheapest gasoline so far $3.73 in Dunnigan.  Spent a large part of the day with Mt. Sadly, the historical marker, and the loneliest phone booth and the loneliest road sign have all been stolen. But it still makes a great picture.

Santa Clara Valley Model T Club had a space where we put up a canopy and our club banner. There was a pretty good turnout of vendors and lots of stuff. Bob Edwards bought another speedster body and a Muncie to go with it. Everyone had specific sights they wanted to see but the end destination was Winnemucca, Nevada. As usual John G. came by to bid us a safe trip as we departed at 5:20 AM. We have now found a lonelier road than route 50 (The Loneliest Highway) and it is Utah route 30 From Snowville, UT to Oasis, NV (a ghost town- without a sign). We turned off the engine and watched these beautiful animals. They seemed so tame until we started the Model A and then off they went. Again, we are treated to another beautiful sunrise. The road is an interesting red color.
