The dash for home, day 3, Fortuna, CA to Los Altos Hills, CA, 297 miles. Left just before dawn, as we left Fortuna, saw a dead bear by the side of the road, someone has a dented car, for sure. Drove hard, stopped only for gas. Raining on the Golden Gate, 19th Ave still overloaded.
Arrived home about 1:00PM. Immediately washed the poor little black coupe.
Synopsis for the trip, 2050 miles, no glitches from the A, just under 20mpg overall.
All the A's made it home. Few little problems out there on the roads, but just proves that the Model A Ford was and is a sturdy, reliable, lovable little vehicle. Where we going next?
